First Annual College and Health Careers Expo
The Southeast Regional Center, in partnership with The Detroit College Promise and Wayne County Community College District, will host its first annual College and Health Careers Expo on Saturday, March 17, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event will take place at Wayne County Community College District's Northwest Campus, which is located at 8200 West Outer Drive (at Southfield Road) in Detroit.
The College and Health Careers Expo is open to students in grades nine through 12 and their parents. Participants will obtain information about a variety of careers in the growing health care industry. Recruiters and representatives from several Michigan colleges and universities will be present to provide tips, tools, and resources related to college admissions as well as scholarships and financial aid.
