Upper Peninsula Human Trafficking Task Force

Shelby Santti, Program Director for the Upper Peninsula Regional Center (UPRC), has joined the Upper Peninsula Human Trafficking task force (UPHTTF). UPRC and host partner, Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center (UGL), are now partner affiliates with the UPHTTF. Together they plan to provide UGL clinical staff with education and training on how to help prevent, identify and treat victims of human trafficking.

Lippincott Solutions Advisor and Procedures Subscription

UPRC recently purchased a Lippincott Solutions Advisor and Procedures subscription as a resource for UGL clinical staff. The resource provides a suite of evidence based, best practice clinical decision support tools that are updated regularly related to diseases, diagnostic tests, drugs, patient teaching, step by step procedures, skills checklists, etc. This resource will also be used to improve the organizational competency management system for clinical staff at UGL and for the UPRC CCMA Employee Upskilling Program.
