Upper Peninsula Regional Center Fall Update
Upper Peninsula Regional Center Welcomes New Team Member
We’re excited to introduce you to Upper Peninsula Regional Center (UPRC)/UGLs newest member, Sharon Shifflette, Workforce Development Coordinator. We’re thrilled to have Sharon on the UPRC team not only for her professional background, but because she shows true passion for making a difference in the lives of others and that quality can’t be taught.
“My name is Sharon Shifflette, I’ve lived in the Upper Peninsula with my family for about 3 years and we love it here. The Upper Peninsula has such wonderful charm and people. The community is amazing, and I want to help them in any way possible. I am excited to work with the UPRC team because it does just that, cares for the community and touches my heart.
I have worked with non-profit organizations before and that is where my heart is. I have strong administration skills and passion for celebrating people’s accomplishments. My favorite thing is to help people and that is where I thrive in the workplace. UPRC meets all things I was looking for in a career, and I am excited to be a part of the team.
