AHEC Scholar Spotlight: Zahraa Alrafish

Zahraa Alrafish is a Year 1 Michigan AHEC Scholar pursuing a Bachelor's in Social Work with a minor in Psychology at Wayne State University. Zahraa joined the AHEC Scholars program to grow her interprofessional skills. "Joining the AHEC program felt like a natural step to grow my skills in healthcare, where I believe I can make a lasting impact." She has been inspired by her fellow AHEC Scholars during her time in the program. Zahraa hopes to pursue her MSW, specializing in emergency care to support immigrant and refugee populations.
